Second amp/cab

I have an SVT (V9) amp and 8x10 that I just love. It's too heavy to move between my home and classroom (I am just a science teacher. Not a music teacher.) I just saw a 1975 (give or take a couple years) Fender Bassman amp for sale with a Showman D130 cabinet containing two 15" speakers. Obviously, these were not sold together. The ad says "800 firm" but it seems to me 600 would be a good price, and anything that starts with a 6 a decent price. I've not seen either of these sell for 400 or more individually, but I can count on one hand the number I've seen in the last several years (I just don't pay attention to amps after I got the SVT). I'd like to get this for my classroom so I can play during my day at a moment's notice. Am I wrong on the pricing? the ad also says the amp was rebuilt, but not when. "Minor dings and scuffs" and it does look in above average shape from the picture for its age. Any advice welcome. Thanks.

I won't be hauling it at all. If I get an occasional gig, I will bring the SVT. This Fender is just for my work environment where I am lucky enough to be able to have a bass and noodle around on it here and there through the work day. I could get any sort of practice amp, of course. I'm interested in this Fender partly for the cool factor and mostly for the "great price" factor.
