Double Bass see through

The glue between the backside of my bass (flatback) and the side came loose at one side in the most narrow part of the bass. There's a tiny opening now (you can see the light coming through). I monitored humidity very carefully at home, but I played in a show last weekend and I guess it happened there...

Should I be alarmed + is it still ok to transport the bass?

Open seams (as opposed to cracks) are not too big a deal normally. Some live months to years with it. It's not necessary humidity/aridity that causes it, sometimes it just happens. Take the bass to a luthier when you have time. Or, better yet: You should acquire the necessary knowledge to repair it yourself (hide glue, clamps, etc). Saves time and money.
