Seeking good REPAIRABLE bass amp!

Not that when suggesting amps that are old and the original factory support is long gone, it may be difficult to impossible to source some parts.

Many older parts are becoming unavailable due to changes in the supply chain. This is especially true for pots, switches, connectors and semiconductors. Also, if the PCB is damaged (due to catastrophic failure or ham fisted repair attempt), this assembly also may not be available.
 
Well, yeah when I pick a note thru the PF500, the speaker sounds gaseous. But when I substitute another amp for the PF500, the speaker sounds great. So I guess the Ampeg makes my speaker sound "farty"..
