Played a local Chinese restaurant/bar last night. Not much room in the corner so the upright bass got the night off. Good crowd. They loved everything but one strange Tom Waits tune.

As you can see, I hate playing with these guys

Make it Rain. We do it pretty close to the way he did it on Letterman. It usually goes over well, probably because I usually play upright and people like the look of it when showcased. I’d post a link but I’m not that good at this high tech stuff

I always bring sandwiches and eat on the way. My favorite drummer had teriyaki chicken, pretty sure it was on the house
