    Hi Justin

I wondered if you had tried any of the Serek basses, and if so what your thoughts were? I've heard good things and they seem to be making unique instruments.

    Thanks

I HATE most modern instruments, they just have zero appeal to me in terms of their look. Except now, there's people like Serek doing incredibly well made, sick sounding, great playing stuff that aesthetically I can actually get behind. I tried them at NAMM and thought they were spectacular.

There's also, by the way, a really cool crop of offset guitar makers doing cool things...you can see a lot of it on the Insta of my homies East Side Music Supply in Nashville. Some of those makers are starting to do basses too, and I can get behind some of that stuff.

Great, that's what I was hoping.

I wasn't aware of Serek basses and just checked them out - nice. Great to see some big sounding old school basses being made, and in the midwest. Really liked the new B90 pickup too.

Got mine - super easy to play with the 30.5" scale. Thumbs up!
