My best friend (who happens to be another bassist) has this one bass that I absolutely love. It's a Fender Precision of some variant. It has a P/J configuration, three knobs, one being stacked, EMGs, a passive/active on off switch, a precision body, and a jazz neck. I know the electronics are all post-production, but I was wondering what kind of bass this is, and where it was produced. Its serial number starts with CNxxxxx, and it has a Fender logo (the logo looks like modern MIM logos) which I'm unfamiliar with. Could anybody tell me where this bass was made, and what kind of Precision it is?
PS. - all the head stock says is "Precision Bass", but it's definately a jazz neck...
