Have you *seen* him play guitar in person?

One of the best shows I've ever seen was Tosin with Reflux at the Knitting Factory in LA, back in ~2003. Think there were 20 of us there, and the band just completely kicked ass all over their set.

He's allowed to play whatever whacky nonsense he wants, with that kind of skill. Just like Vai and his "monkey-grip" sig models.
 
I like it. I should also add that this artist has a pretty cool career in the music industry. Also, I doubt he rode his bike to NAMM; he probably took his Porsche. Much respect to Tosin!

I like it, and his band and his wacked out space shred too. Dennis Kayzer reviews all kinds of weird stuff like this on youtube, it's not my bag, but it's cool to see people breaking molds and getting really successful for being creative.

And FWIW, the two inward cuts are perfect for holding a guitar in a classical position. Looks damned good and very functional IMO.
