Set Up HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a 300W bass amp head. I love the sound I get from it but I need more power. I have a 1x15 cab at 300W rms and a 2x10 cab at 200w rms 400w peak. I've never run them both together but I plan to in the future. My question is would I be able to use a power amplifier with my amp head to power both cabs. And if so how would I set that up. All solutions are welcome. I'm new to bass so I hope this isn't a bonehead question.

What is your amp head and what are your cabinets? If they are 8 ohm cabinets, you should be safe running both with your amp. The easiest way to get more volume is not more power. It's more speakers.

What amp head and what is the impedance of the speaker cabs? Running both cab from the same head is the best to do first if possiblke.

The head is a behringer bxd3000h and the cabs are seismic audio. both cabs are 8 ohms.

Then start by plugging in both cabs. That may solve your problems. You can do this by plugging each cabinet into the amp head or daisy chaining them-plugging the amp into one cab, and plugging that cab into the other cab.

Chances are very good your cabs will only handle 150 watts each of bass frequencies so running both from your head will be best.

With 300 watts on the amp and 500-700 on the speakers, you're looking at a pretty serious case of underpowing the speakers. The cones will shrivel up an look like raisins hanging off of metal baskets. Also, if you haven't used the speakers together before, you're probably going to want to rotate them in the cabinets. Rotate the 15" 180 degrees and each of the 10s 90 degrees (the left one clockwise and the right counterclockwise).

He now has the ultimate setup........... A 15 for the boom, and some 10's for the punch - what could possibly be wrong ?

Oh no, you're not casting me in the role of "Same Size Drivers Secret Police." Suffice to say that there are plenty of threads here on TB where the subject of mixed driver sizes comes up.
