Seymour Duncan Bass Line Push/pull knob???

I'm trying to remove a seymour duncan bass line pick up(mmstyle) and i cant seem to figure out how to get the push/pull knob off I've removed the set screw and it still wont budge. Help.

You need something to pry the knob off with.

thanks, but could you be more specific? will pliers work? and how likely is it that I'll snap the pot?

I use a flat blade screw driver, and wedge it up under the knob.

If you really have to pull hard you might break the pot.
