the question is, is my penmanship good enough to write the logo on there if it doesn’t have it.

I bought new SB-1 from sweetwater a couple years ago. They did not have the logo.

Don't know about your penmanship but looking at eBay S. Duncan SPB-1 examples, it appears that the boxes with the yellow colored label have the logo. Perhaps, the orange colored label was the older one with no logo.

Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't

The older ones would sometimes say basslines

The older ones didn't and the newer ones do. There was a period of time when they said "Basslines" too. None of mine have the logo because I hate it and always rub it off.
