SG Bass to EB6 conversion

Hello everyone, this is my first post, sorry if i'm writing in the wrong section and for my bad english.
I'm obsessed with the Gibson EB6 and i'm thinking to buy the Gibson SG Bass swapping the 4 tuning keys with six Hipshot ultralight 1/2" mini clover (other than the obvious changes like bridge, nut, etc). Please can somebody measure the distance between the center of the tuning keys of the same side, of his sg bass? I'm in Milan and noone have it. Thank you very much!

What is your hoped for end result? I have this 6 string bass and another with a Tele body shape. Both are nominally 30” scale length and tuned E to e an octave below a standard guitar with 0.090-0.020” strings. If that or something similar is what you’re shooting for I’d suggest plugging the existing tuner holes and purchasing the best guitar tuners you can afford.

On the other hand, I do recall at least one version of the EB6 had 6 full size bass tuners so if that’s where you’re headed, carry on.

Edit: the first pic is a long scale EB3 but the center to center on the tuners is 3 3/8” or 83mm. An EB0 might be different.

Thanks for the reply Matt. My target would be a branded Gibson 30" baritone for doom/sludge, just like the EB6, but with regular small guitar tuners, to avoid the neck dive.
I happened to see a Gibson SG baritone guitar for sale online, a little shorter than 30", but it was totally white, not my color, with a damaged finish and a richlite fretboard, so I gave up.
Plugging the holes would be the best idea if done properly, but it's a very delicate job and it's easy to get bad if not perfectly refinished. At this point I would prefer mounting the piccolo bass strings of d'Addario and forget the higher two strings, than a bad, non-reversable mod.
Right now i found out a shop in my city with the SG bass, calculating the proportions of the Grover from its picture, the distance beetween the tunings should be 66 mm, so no space for a third tuning, but if its 83 mm would be ok. Tomorrow I'll go there with a ruler in my pocket :).
Thank you, I'll let you know how i'll fix my g.a.s. for a Gibson baritone.
