That's likely where I'll end up. Having the ability to switch between series & parallel or between humbucker & single coil is interesting, but may not create any useable tones. I'll experiment with all the possible configurations, but I doubt I'll set up to access all possible configs. That would take too many switches / knobs / buttons. I'll likely pick one and go with it. I could end up with one pickup wired in series and one wired in parallel. I had that setup for several years on a Peavey Foundation S (P/J config) that had dual coils in the J pickup also.
