You would literally need a pin heads worth of that. Dab it on a piece of paper and use a toothpick to drop a dot in.

The Markin iappears to be the same bass listed on page 3 of the Canadian Eaton's company 1975 Guitar cat. If so, def MIJ
The owner of the Marlin has it up for sale and says it MIJ and going by that catologue, that is the case

I was at a guitar shop yesterday and found a used 2015 Gibson SG Standard bass for pretty cheap. It had the Babicz high mass/full contact bridge and a Hipshot drop-D tuner, and came with the original hard shell case and case candy. It was so nice I had no choice but to rescue it. While I've had lots of SG basses over the years, this is my first standard cherry red version. I'm a happy dude right now!

This 2007 SG Supreme just arrived from Germany an hour ago. I've been looking for one of the 400 made the first week of 2007 for a long time. The hateful 3-point bridge has been replaced by a Babicz, so I don't have to pick up another Hipshot Supertone like the one that I installed on my 2013 Faded Cherry SG. It also has a 3-way switch that I don't yet know what it does. An original potentiometer was included, so I'll have to remove the control cavity cover to see what's going on. The hard case it came in is beyond redemption, but the bass itself is in excellent condition. I'm going to replace the existing roundwound strings with flats muy pronto.
Easy: one position is neck pup only, one is bridge only, one is both. Congrats-and total agreement on flats.
That's a beautiful SG! I used to have one just like it, but I had to sell it after I had some health issues. I've had many basses come and go over the years; this is the only one I truly regret selling. Take that one with you to the grave!
One of the prettiest Gibson basses ever, IMO. Happy to hear that you've managed to grab one of these rare birds.

I think something else is going on. It still has two volume pots, but you may be right that it's a pickup selector. I'm just used to the VVT setup on Jazz basses. I haven't removed the control cavity cover yet, but the Tone control is not continuous. It's a rotary switch with 5 positions. Strange. Was busy yesterday, but I'll check it out later today.

I opened up the control cavity and this is what I found.
I found the Stellartone website. Lots of interesting info. Unfortunately, all of their current ToneStylers are 10 position (8 caps plus a true bypass, not sure about the 10th). The one I have only has 5 positions (unless it's broken internally). Their website mentions the need for a mini-toggle switch, so that explains why the 3-way switch was added. As @GonePlaid suggested above, it selects Neck, Both or Bridge. I sent a message to Stellartone asking if I have a former, no longer available version and if they could provide any info on what I have. Here's a cool animated GIF that shows what the current version does.

Congrats that's a beauty! Is it just the perspective or does that have a different trim ring that moves the bridge pickup toward the bridge?

Doh. I never noticed that. Something else to figure out and get back on, but on first glance, it looks like the pole pieces of the bridge pickup are the same distance to the bridge break points. I'll have to look for other photos of that model and compare.
