Shake up at GK

Hello all GK enthusiasts!
This is Brian Clark, Gallien-Krueger’s new Artist Representative & Product Specialist.
I am first and foremost a working Double Bass and Electric Bass Player. I studied music at San Joaquin Delta College and the University of the Pacific. I have been working as a professional Bassist here in the Central Valley (California) for the past ten years. I am passionate about all genres of music and been apart of many different types of groups. From Rock to Jazz, Bluegrass to Hip-Hop and from tiny cafe gigs to concert halls to Stadium gigs, I have used all shapes and sizes of gear. I hope that I can be at your service for whatever questions or concerns you may have. I am so exited to be apart of the GK family. I truly believe that we can meet all of your Bass Amp needs. Gallien-Krueger is here to stay!
Happy Playing, BC

Hmmm....another GK staff clean-out! From memory, Dan got his job as a result of a similar staff clean-out several years ago where Trip Wamsley (where is he now?) was pushed out without warning. I'm starting to thing Bob Gallien is a difficult guy to work for.........

I'm right here Pete! Been here all along. Doing things with myself, and for Glockenklang. What about Bob? Bob indeed. Very interesting person. Very interesting. I learned a lot though. You can't buy that, so hats off to Bobbers for that one.

Hi,

Even though I never saw any of Dan Elliot's posts, I can speak from experience that Christine and Jason Finley are probably two of the best and nicest people I ever had to deal with at any bass equipment mfg... I bought a 2001rb from RMC (best prices around) and the head got whacked in shipping. Jason went out of his way to get me a factory fresh replacement in less than 4 days. So I hope all stays well with GK!!!!

Hee hee, your diplomacy is as brilliant as your playing Trip!

Welcome to TB Brian and congrats on the new job. All the best!

I e-mailed them and got no reply. He tried the same, and got no reply. He has called a few times, put on hold forever and is still trying to actually talk with someone. You tell me, are things OK?
I've heard of a couple of cases lately where the email doesn't go through if using the support@ gallien.com address.

I've always gotten quick replys in the past and every time I've emailed Jason Finley(sales director) he has replied the same day.

If you have Brian's contact info, that should be helpful.

Well, I am real sorry to see Dan go.
Dan, thanks for your help with my recent transaction. And will all previous considerations. Best wishes to you and much success wherever you go.
Brian, welcome to GK. Been a long time user/endorser.
Back in the day but years after i was playing GK, I met a fellow by the name of Doc Greene who introduced me to Bob.
Then it was Trip Wamsley ( yo, Trip! ) who was my liason, and eventually Dan.
I love the amps so I do not want to see them go anywhere.

Some of Dans post were the final tip over the edge for me to buy my GK rig. Hope you do well in the future mate.

Brian Clark, welcome to TB! You've got some big shoes to fill (Im sure you can see the appreciation we all have for Dan) but I'm sure you'll do fantastically. You've already helped out at least 1 person on TB, and that's what it's all about.

Lastly, I hope GK as a company survives, I dont see why it shouldn't.
Lastly lastly, if it doesnt, can I have fusion and neo 410?

I did not imply anything - I asked a question. Would GK have changed personnel or operations at Kaman's suggestion to streamline a business deal?

Sorry-I was a bit rude and uncharacteristic for a Canadian.:) But I don't see how Kaman would have any direct dealing with GK. I suppose it could be possible but really unlikely. Unless you know something nobody else does.

Anyhow, let's get back to beating this topic to death.
