Shake up at GK

The news I'm getting is that Gene from Artist Relations
and Dan Elliott are gone from GK. No one seems too happy
with Bob Gallien right now. There are rumors that Gallien
might even be thinking of unloading the company, although
this is just a rumor and could be total junk comming from a
disgruntled employee. From my limited viewpoint, both of
these guys were very good at their jobs. Dan Elliott has
been an exellent spokesman for GK on Talkbass. It will be
interesting to see what happens in the next months with GK.

This is being openly discussed over in the GK forums as well. There's been no official word from a GK employee on that forum, but its also pretty late where they're based so that's not a huge suprise.

Until I hear something official I'm not going to sweat the lovely 2001RB sitting behind me or the Neo410 I have on order from RMC Audio ;)

That's for sure.

I hope GK stabilizes and is able to keep making awesome gear.
Ditto on that one.

As I posted on the Gallien-Krueger forums, Dan Elliott responded with his account on here saying, "I quit," when asked by another about his current employment situation. So, unless someone somehow got a hold of Dan's account without him knowing...

Dan, thank you for all the time, energy, and high-quality work you put into Gallien-Krueger's products. Wish you the best on all your further endeavors!
