Guitar GAS is something I definitely don't have. Quite the opposite; I have 7 of them, and honestly, I'm not sure how that happened. I would love for 5 of them to disappear; these are the 2 I'd keep. An '87 Rick 330, and an early (late '90s?) Eastwood Sidejack Baritone. The others are nice - very nice, in a couple of cases - but I wouldn't miss them ...
All you have to do is stuff the springs with something, I think most use sponge
My problem with the cheap double-locking guitars is that the strings slip, either at the nut or at the bridge.
I'm admittedly rough on them, pulling up on the bar, and the Original Floyd & the Ibanez Original Edge were the only ones that could stand up to it.
Any double-locking system is no fun if you keep changing tunings.
It's a shame they went to the trouble of building such an awesome guitar & then put in only a 3-way switch for the pickup selector.
Ibanez used to do some pretty cool switching with push/pull pots, but apparently they've stopped on everything but the most expensive Prestige line.
No, it doesn't only have a 3-way switch. If you care to open the link I gave on the model name to open the specs sheet, you'll learn that they put in also push/pull knob for the different voicing of the Fishman Fluence pickups. It's a shame they went to the trouble of building such an awesome guitar & then put in only a 3-way switch for the pickup selector.

I wish they'd make a S series Premium, but all the Premiums are RG series![]()
Don't remember exactly... I first learned about them from Tosin Abasi's Youtube clip describing his new Ibanez fanned fret guitar which has Fishman Fluence pickups.I did open the link & this is what I saw:

OK, so what does the Fishman Fluence Voice Changing switch do?
