My latest guitar GAS:

I've got no GAS for any solidbody, and most semi/hollowbody guitars. ATM I am GAS free from acoustic guitars, too, nothing can match what I already have, IMO/E.
Done the PRS thing. I used to have a Custom 24, and frequently played my friend's recently departed 1998 McCarty Archtop Artist 10 Top. Not into the thinline types of guitars these days, and really, no longer interested in electric guitars. Two of my acoustic guitars have built-in pickup systems, but they very rarely get plugged in.Try a PRS HBII with the piezo...

You're right. It was the last electric I owned. Without a doubt (regardless of what the F*nd*r and G*bs*n folks say) Paul makes amazing guitars. If I were to seriously consider another electric it would be a 1930s-40s era Epiphone. When a man is tired of PRS, he is tired of electric guitar.
Been wanting a S series with DiMarzio's for a while & one like this should arrive on Tuesday:

So much so that, if one were to try and play any other kind of music on it, nothing would come out. It's an Iron Label & they are specifically designed for Heavy Metal.
I have large hands which can make playing a guitar, especially an electric one, problematic. My acoustic is a classical with a nice, wide, flat neck and nylon strings. The only electric guitar I've ever played that felt "right" to me was a Navy buddy's 1957 Gretsch Tennessean. Looked exactly like this one and almost had me believing I could play guitar. If I could afford it, I'd get one.
