well, if I were to play live (i don't anymore and may never do it again), I'd use this...

DSC_1998.jpg

Ampeg SVT2-Pro
Dual SWR Goliath II 4x10 cabs loaded with BP102-4 speakers

effects are:
Boss ODB
EHX Bass Big Muff
Crybaby Bass Wah
Boss OC-3
EHX Micro Q-tron
....but they don't get used much....I still plug straight into my amp 95% of the time.

Carvin BX500 into a home-built 410 neo cab. I had an old PA cab laying around that was just about the exact size and shape of the typical 410 cab, and of course it already had corners, covering, feet, handles etc. so all I had to do was fab a new baffle to fit the neos and drop a speakon into the back plate and I was up and running. And I can carry the thing by myself without too much problem. Pics to follow, I'll edit this post.

I play several different gigs but these are my usuals:

small gigs- Polytone MiniBrute III, love the tone and portability

medium gigs- GK MB500 into Walter Box 1x15 PV Black Widow spkr
for outdoor gigs I may add a 1x10 or 1x12 for more bite

Large gigs- GKMB500 into old school Peavey 2x15 cab loaded with Black Shadow (Mesa/EV) speakers, for outdoor gigs may add 2x12 cab for bite

I have 2 gigs that are all direct to PA or IEM for that my pedal board provides "amp sounds"
