Sharing an old band recording.....

Reconnected with an old bandmate from my HS R&B band and he had some old recordings from a concert we did at our HS. Here's a couple samples. We were pretty damn good for teenagers. 16-18 years old. Sound quality leaves much to be desired as they were recorded using an old tape recorder but this was in the late 70's.

Thanks man. That drummer is Tony Cintron. He went on to be a pro who's played with a ton of big name cats.

Several members of the band went on to become professional fulltime musicians. Right after this band the drummer (Tony Cintron), guitarist (Phil Hamilton) and sax player (Sandy Anderson/also a bassist) formed an R&B band called Unlimited Touch. They had 2 hit songs. Tony went on to play all over the Latin jazz field. Phil played with artists such as Luther Vandross, Vanessa Williams and Roberta Flack. Sandy played bass on the controversial song Inside Out by Odyssey. Many folks thought it was Mark Adams from the band Slave. That debate continues today.
