Double Bass Shaw Tube Injection?

I took a peek at the specs, and I would recommend against it (especially at the price). There's no adjustable MID band, just a contour switch which likely only shifts the center frequency while not giving you the ability to boost or cut said frequencies. If one of those curves doesn't work for you, then the rest of the controls aren't going to be able to compensate.

There are other options for less money that will get you in the ballpark.

Anyone on here with experience using a Shaw Tube Injection Preamp/DI? Especially with a Fishman Full Circle pickup? I'm looking to improve the amplified sound of my bass. The Grace Felix seems very complete, but more expensive and more complicated (a lot more knobs to bump). The Shaw TI seems it might meet my needs.

Lenny,
The Headway EDB-2 will work wonders with your Fishman Full Circle, and it's half the price of the Shaw. The feature set of the Headway is better suited to a Piezo pickup.
It has more than enough gain to run directly into a powered speaker or power amp.
