Thinking of changing all the hardware to gold plating. Are there replacement parts in gold for this bass? I don't want to drill any holes. Do they make gold strings?

I'm pretty sure that Hipshot, Schaller and Gotoh all make tuners that will work for you.
The bridge is another story: you'll have to measure the bolt pattern and compare it to the bridges on the market. If it's the standard Fender bolt pattern, you're in luck - if not, it may be harder to track one down.

Have you contacted Shecter and asked if they sell OEM parts?

Not sure about gold strings.

For te strings get Optima 24 K Gold. They are between 80 to 100 per set, but they last for a verrrrrrrry long time.
