I mean no offense but It's a big no no for me.
Not because of pink but the hue commonly used at shell pink reminds me of most used bathroom, female bathroom tiles. :bag:
Exactly the same reaction for me! growing up many decades ago I saw the pink tiles, with black border tiles, far too often in kitchens and bathrooms. It turned me off of pink.

I just played in the orchestra for the Beach Boys in Louisville and Indianapolis and the bass player (super nice guy, btw) had a Flea roadworn Jazz. Cool bass!
I saw the same thing here in Oregon at the state fair. It was a few years back though. It was the first thing I noticed, he’s playing a Flea bass. Lol

Harley Benton have a shell pink jazz bass, with matching headstock !, for a cheap price.
There are actually three that are labeled Shell Pink, although two of them look more like the salmon color in these photos: a J bass, a PJ, and a Mustang-style short scale.

You would be driving a Maserati to a gig right now, with a leggy blonde in the right front seat, talking to your stock broker on your phone about what to do with the enormous profits you made in the market this year - all the money from the concert tickets you sold and some wise choices in investments really paid off, and in only a couple of years.

But alas, you're headed home for ramen noodles. In a 30 year old Volvo with 3 missing hubcaps. Which needs a valve job - you're putting out quite a cloud with that thing.
In sax circles, the joke is that a saxophonist is the one who takes a $5000 instrument in a $500 car to a $50 gig.

Not sure if this counts - they call it White Blonde, but it has a pinkish tint to it for sure. My daughter said it looks like raw chicken breast. Squier CV50's P Bass with CV70's P Bass neck.

I have a CV 70s (MIC) Squier P bass. Best neck EVER! Nice combo!

Here's mine with the original neck

View attachment 4909557 My Kitty- Stein- Fretless!

A Converted Bronco bass with 60's position rear pickup.

Originally Bronco Black and refinished to a Shell Pink with
matching head stock.

Concentric Knobs.

Pink Fret Markers.

Unknown 3d manufacturer of the pickguard. We been looking for the manufacturer with no success.

My guitarist and I own Hello Kittys !
We get more disbelieve from the guitar & bass snobs. And also more attention from the ladies in local Bay Area Blues clubs too.
As a Bay Area resident you are officially a BAD ASS.

I would LOVE to own a pink Peavey 1980's bass like @Bleecker owns.
