As promised, here is my review of the Babicz (how is that pronounced anyway?) bridge.
This is by far the most solid, well though out piece of guitar/bass hardware I have ever used. Of all the bridges out there, this one is the first I can say is an honest improvement over the old bent steel Fender design.
First of all, it is extremely light weight, which kind of goes in the face of the high mass bridge theory. I love how all of the adjustments lock into place after they are set. The cam, that is used for the string height adjustment is very smooth, and locks into place after it is set. The bridge pieces are very well machined. The intonation screws are the smoothest, easiest to turn screws I have ever seen on any other bridge.
The only con I can come up with for this bridge is that it has to be taken apart to be installed because the intonation adjustment screws go over the mounting holes. That is a very minor complaint, and there was really no other way around it from an engineering standpoint.
