So the music store that set up this shen sb150 changed the end pin. I now have a carbon fiber shaft with a spike and no threads.

The diameter of the shaft is 14mm.

Where should I go to find just the end pin and shaft, I don't need the collar and whole assembly.

Stumped in Utah.

A little late, sorry! You can reach out to Marc at New Harmony, he's the endpin guru. Most makers and shops are using his stuff.

I was able to secure a suitable end pin... the jackwagons at summer Hayes in Utah had a guy that set up their bases that put these Chinese carbon fiber end pins. I was able to purchase the whole assembly for $26. So now I have a whole second assembly only to find that the cups come off the tip that has the pointy part. I found several places that you can buy a whole bag of the cups for the end. So that problem is solved now.

Those are pretty good but I’ve had a few crack around the thumbscrew. If you have problems just get the New Harmony. They make sockets for both 1/2” and 3/4” and the quality is much better.
