Shep on Bass - Interviews about effects!

Shep, want to thank you for these interviews and for me intros to some cool players and music.

Still enjoying your cd, made it on my vacation mix and my wifel likes it to. She is encouraging me to try a project of my own so migh have a few questions on the how to get some sounds/textures if that is okay.

One of my favorite threads/blogs. I am streaming Submotion Orchestra at work as I type this...

Always, ask away dude. I live to geek out over this stuff! :)

Due to a number of reasons (all currently stated on my website and Facebook page), I am in the process of shutting down the blog and everything else to do with my bass playing life.

As such, the links in this thread will no longer be active. I have however arranged for all of these interviews to remain online over at Si Poulton's (Of Poultone Devices) blog. Please give him some love as he's been kind enough to host these

THE INTERVIEWS CAN NOW BE FOUND HERE -> The ‘Shep On Bass’ Interviews

I am unable to edit the posts above, but maybe a mod (if anyone speaks regularly to a mod, maybe you can point them here) can remove the links throughout and replace with this one (or give me access to do so for 5 minutes) to avoid it being a waste of space on talk bass. Basically I'd like it to still be a readable thread here!

Thanks folks!

I'll be keeping my account here and on Basschat. I still get loads of questions about effects etc, and I'll be shutting off the email addy soon, so it's nice to have somewhere for folks to get in touch still and for me to get my effects fix when needed. I've closed accounts on lesser forums already :)

:wideyed: "Wahhh!" <<— Cantonese expression of incredulity, pronounced like wah-wah...

Hey, thanks for all the fun and inspiration you've given all of us. I'm sure happy that the interviews will be hosted elsewhere and that information will still be an available resource.

Best wishes in your new direction, wherever it may take you, and I'm sure you will continue to inspire us as musicians all.

Cheers,
FF
