Cannot recommend FedEx, every time I’ve received something from them in last 10 years, it’s been damaged, mis-directed or in limbo without tracking for days on end (one time bass sat in FedEx warehouse for 4-5 days during record cold snap). Their app doesn’t actually work in realtime, I’ve had several occasions where delivery change requests took 48 hours to go thru system.
Latest is damage to a $3K custom bass I recently received, unfortunately it arrived on first day of vacation so wife had to deal. Truss rod (headstock adjust) got forced out of neck to end of adjustment channel.
I’m guessing some fuc#w!t dropped it on its head multiple times.
Signature required but wife saw box open at one end with gigbag sticking out, dents and holes in box so she refused to sign without full inspection. Driver rolled his eyes, said “Oh God”, got in truck and drove away.
I discovered later that he forged signature!
What the h3ll is wrong with people?
I let builder know, he says he will make it right, but:
