Where are you and where is the bass coming from (or going to). If it's in a hard case or crate, you can send it almost any where via Greyhaound
Artisan Shipping (917-613-0338), NY-based, is bringing my new baby to California from Michigan next week - VERY professional and careful. I'd read Bass Monkey's Greyhound horror stories and read their own fine print (minimal coverage, no guaranteed delivery date, bass may sit for days in a terminal until a bus has space) before taking a chance with them.
