My Management professor has this phrase "shoot some hoops"... along with all the bad sports puns that get weird looks... this one actually makes me think.
The class is largely on the use of Excel in managerial activities such as forecasting, tracking, etc. He expects us to spend time outside of class learning features that we won't need for quite a while.
Question: do you shoot some hoops? Or do you just learn the minimum to get by?
