here's my '62 AV RI vintage white one with an early 70's neck and pickguard on it (i bought it as a body only from a tb member). it's super lightweight and sounds huge.
BTW, NO neck dive at all. as a matter of fact, i've never had a neck dive issue on a p bass, even on my '55 which weighs only 7lbs 3 oz.
John you've got some of my favorite basses in your collection--very cool.
And btw I've also got a very light Fender '55 reissue (right at 8 lbs) and have no neck dive.
