Shop sent wrong cab

Thanks for the tips!
I tested the cab not at home but at the practice space at loud (very loud) volume, I know It's not "gig level" but it was very high, I tried it with my dummer and we are a duo, so I feel confident the test is trustworthy! :)
IMO paired with the other cab PF210 HE the result is what I hoped for: sounds BIG but punchy

Anyways I spoke with the shop's customers care and they don't offer any "partial" refund unless I decide to send back the cab
And they even wanted me to send It back AT MY EXPENSE until I insisted that it was their error, not me "changing my mind"
Very rude and dishonest behaviour, I'm almost tempted to send it back just to have justice even of I had kept it if it was just for the cab.
They sent you the wrong cab and expect you to ship it back on you dime??? I'm usually very patient with an honest mistake, but THAT is not an acceptable solution to me at all! Is that even legal there?

I don't know what the EU regulations are, but in the USA if you pay for an item like this using a credit card and there is a dispute you can contact the credit card's customer service to resolve the problem. You may still have to pay shipping, but you can often get a complete refund otherwise. However this all depends on how banking and credit is regulated in the EU. Hopefully there is an option for you. Euro-zone regulations are supposed to be very consumer friendly.

But if you like the cab, and the price is still good for the one they sent, keep it. Give them a bad yelp review or whatever they have over there, but honestly, finding a cab you like at a price you like and having it in your hands is worth more than some other cab out there you haven’t found yet. But its your call. I’d keep it, play it, and enjoy it.

I think this will be the end of the story...
As soon as I'll forget how annoyed I am now for this disservice and how they are handling it I'll be able to enjoy it. You know I have the "robin hood/charles bronson/avenger syndrome"

Personally, I'd do whatever I had to do to go for a full refund from them. Not because I want to get a different cab or anything, but because I couldn't support a business that would pretty much just shrug off a mistake like that as if the customer needs to "meet them halfway" to make it right. Screw that. I'd get my money back 100%, leave them an honest, but bad review, and buy a cab elsewhere.

Yeah, that's the reason why I'm tempted to give them WAR
I feel just like you said.

I hear ya. At the end of the day though, you may just be better off keeping the cab. At the very least, you'll avoid any headaches of shipping it back. What if you ship it back, and it gets damaged or lost? That could spell more trouble.

It's a pain shipping a cab even on somebody else's dime. What if you went through all that, shipped it back, found an HE elsewhere, waited for it etc. and then discovered you liked the sound of the LF more? That could easily happen. If it sounds good keep it and do whatever venting is needed to move on afterwards.

I certainly think keeping it is the lesser of two evils choice here. I just hate the thought of giving my money to a company that knowingly made a mistake, and then took damn near zero effort to help the guy out. I hate the thought of perpetuating a business like that, even if it's unintentional.

It's the first time that something like that happens to me, I bought lots of things from private sellers and NEVER had a problem, everything like in the description, always kind, honest people
First time I buy a used item from a SHOP I get this
Maybe I should buy only from bass players

I was sent the wrong item once. It was a GREAT price for what I wanted and a slightly high price for what I got. It was used from Guitar Center. I called them and they offered a free return or a very fair partial refund. If you bought this from a shop, just call them and ask what your options are.

Ask to talk to the manager/owner. Explain that they made a mistake, but you are willing to keep it if
they make it right.
Do NOT raise your voice, but be firm.
I've worked in customer support and also dealt with 1,000's of airport passengers daily. You NEVER want to put someone in a defensive mode; If you raise your voice, you've lost.

Best of luck

Fact is, the price I paid was very low even for the LF, that's why they don't offer a refund, and I don't feel like I have to insist on this...
I'm more and more convinced I'll keep the cab :(

Don' t talk about family business! Just call uncle Vito! :D

As soon as I'll forget how annoyed I am now for this disservice and how they are handling it I'll be able to enjoy it. You know I have the "robin hood/charles bronson/avenger syndrome"

There would have been difference in price if I had bought them new.
But the cab was a used one so they don't have "another" LF to confront the price. I don't think I can ask anything else if not returning the cab, which I am not convinced to because I like it :D
I'm just too pissed off now to enjoy it as it deserves

Regardless, they need to know, and there would be nothing wrong with asking for some remediation. Of course, they may say no, which means you you have a cab you’re happy with at an agreeable price. Not a bad turn of events.

Or, they may send you a buck our two, or maybe some store credit. You have nothing to lose, further, your call call may prevent somebody else getting the same experience.
