Shopping and haggling...

Antlers. And stuff.

I find a clever oxymoron more fun that the Oxycodone. I was getting buckets of them during some surgery.

I still recall doing the funky chicken when I stopped.

No matter what a doctor says it's possible to get physically addicted to prescription pain meds if you have a script.

All joking aside, I agree with you. I had stomach surgery and the pain killers were generic, so I don't recall the name. But my wife caught me headed out the front door to talk to the neighbors in my underwear lol. That sort of thing is easy to abuse and really should be treated with respect.

Found the best haggler in the world in about 1978 in a pawn shop in Houston, Texas. I saw a really beat up old P hanging on the wall. I started my haggle by walking past the guy who was at the counter with his head down going over some paper work. As I passed I said casually, "how much for the raggedyass, beat up old Fender on the wall?"

Without even looking up he responded, "$400 raggedyass, beat up old dollars."
