Short Scale Bass w/ Humbucker

I'm looking for a sub-$400 short scale bass, preferably with a humbucking pickup. I play a lot of different styles, so I would want a moderately versatile bass. Any suggestions?

I have an Epiphone EB-0 which is a cheap, short scale alternative with a reasonable tonal range (not staggeringly wide).

Just a little over your price range, but this one's got dual humbuckers with a 6 way switch.
