Short scale Fenders with body contours?

The only one I can think of offhand is the Rascal, which I don’t like. I know they made the 28.6” scale Fender P Junior for a few years but those are rare and super hard to find. Regret selling mine a few years ago. Do any of the special Mustangs they put out over the years have contours?

Thanks. I already have the Squier SS Jag. I didn't know Fender made a SS Jag though. I had the MIJ Smart Size Jazz and regret selling it. It was a nice compliment to my MIM Fender P Junior they only made for like 4 years. Wish they would bring these back again, especially with the recent popularity of the Mustang, but they probably don't want to cannibalize sales of the Mustang.

I have a Modern Player shortie Jazz as well. Fender pulled the plug on the Modern Player series early, and not many are made. They also made an olympic white white one as well. Some folks say it is prolly the best short scale Fender made. I have seen them on Reverb go for quite a bit. It is as heavy as my American P Bass. Great tone!

THE JB62SS in Sunburst is my dream bass. Seriously. I love that bass. I played one several years ago (wasn't for sale) and I've wanted one ever since. I just wish they'd come up for sale more often and at a decent price.

A Jazz bass with a P pickup? Never seen one. PJ basses are usually considered a P bass.

Smart size jazz 62ss made in Japan
62ss has contoured body and is easily the best short scale bass I have used. It is I payed $1000 second hand and would have been happy to pay more

Fender started contouring the Mustang Basses in the '70s. This isn't copied on any modern production Mustangs. They all have slab bodies like the original '60s basses.
