Would this be a good first 6er?
I happened to own almost every single SR series from 400 up to 4500 Prestige. If you're saying a 25X or 30X SR model sounds like a 50X - 70X SR, you're dead wrongThat aside, Premiums are indeed beasts.

What I meant was:
No particular upgrade from brand new C.A.P. pickups and electronics to Bartolini's mk1 (and I could even add BTB's Bartolini mk2) unless you reach up for SR1200 Premium's Nordstrand
So what's wrong with this?
I even got the brand new SR505 Fretless. I bought it for I ain't found no SR375 Fretless and money was no issue, otherwise...
Cheers,
Wallace

Any idea about the Bartolini Customs in the SR5006E? I know this is a LOT more than the 506 but I'm kind of thinking about it down the road. I was also thinking about grabbing the 506 and dropping EMGs in it. THoughts?![]()

And agathis on SR300 is sure no mahogany on SR500/700(with figured maple)/1200(with ovangkol)/XXV(with padauk) or ash on SR600/4500.
Yes, all those basses don't necessarily sound the same... That's why we were just narrowing it down to electronics
