Should I be angry?

Yes, you should be mad. Your sig other went out partying without you and made out with someone else. The fact that that someone else wasn't a man is irrelevant. That's BS. Period.

If you had been out with them, and it was ok with you, then that would be different. Since she did it behind your back, that erodes trust. Without trust you are wasting your time. Figure out if you can trust her. If yes, then make her grovel and get over it. Otherwise, cut her loose now and move on.

I think being mad would be a natural reaction, but I don't think you should dump her over this.

The big difference here is that she kissed another girl, and she isn't homosexual. Therefore, there were no feelings involved or anything like that. Just drunk girls messing around, like the others have said.

Hmmm. I've been in your shoes before. A friend of mine and my girlfriend got drunk one night and had a lesbian experience together. The only thing that bothered me about it was that I wasn't there. I saw my girlfriend kiss other girls afterwards, too, although she never had sex with them. I didn't get upset until she left me for another guy.

My wife had a couple of serious girlfriends in her late teens, too, and has been nothing but loyal to me. Aside from her saying," hey, look at the rack on her" at the mall, I've seen no evidence that she's wanting to cheat.

Point being, I believe morf is right. Girls at that age are prone to expiriment. The questions I'd be asking are;

Are you upset because you think you should be, or because you're genuinely feeling hurt?

If you're hurt, is it because you feel she cheated, or because she got drunk and lost control of herself when you weren't around to protect her?

Those are all separate issues, and you should work out which you're upset about before talking to her, if you decide to at all.

Right now I'm fine. I'm going to tell her it bugged me, and that if she does it again with anyone, without my permission (hey, I got nothing against me her and another girl), regardless of gender, then we're done.

Thanks for the advice guys.

Here's the situation - I've been going out with this girl for almost a month, and it's been going well. Last Saturday she had a girls night with some friends of hers. They got very drunk and partied. I found out later, from one of the others, that she made out with one of her girlfriends. At first I didn't mind, and I knew she felt bad about it, but I haven't been able to get it off my mind. She's not bisexual, and I know it didn't mean anything, but it still really bugs me. I know it was just them joking around, but at the same time I can't help but get the feeling that she cheated on me. We're both monogamous, and that's the way we like it, and I also have a belief that if somebody cheats on me then it's done. I just don't really know what to do with this right now, because I really like her, but I'm also angry, and then there's some other stuff that I'm not getting into. Basically I'm extremely confused and conflicted, and I'm looking for some advice from some of the well-balanced folks on this site.

Are you serious...??? And you call yourself a bassplayer..:crying: ??

Awww man... good luck with this one, I know what I'd do. BTW, be whatever you feel. If it's angry... so be it. Just don't make a stupid decisions or say anything you can't takeback (major fault of anger from my experiences).
