Should I be concerned with pedal voltage? POG & Pitchblack.

I searched but could not find info on these pedals used in sequence.

I am only using 2 pedals; Electro-Harmonix POG (9.6 V) and the Korg Pitchblack (9 V).

I am running the Pitchback first, so I tried using the Pitchblack converter and daisy chain the power adaptor supply to the POG. The pair cut out during the second set. I quickly recovered by going directly into my amp, but I'm wondering if it's my daisy chain cable or if chaining these pedals together is just a bad idea. I powered both individually for the 3rd set and everything was fine.

I know I shouldn't have, but I threw out the daisy chain cable after the gig. I should have kept it for testing.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

For the most part a manufacturer isn't going to give you more power in the power supply than is needed to just run the intended device. Trying to power a second one can overtax the current capability of the supply.
You'll need to find a third party solution for power that's intended to run multiple supplies.

You can find other power supplies but you need to add up the current being drawn by both pedals and size the supply for at least 50% more, or better, twice that amount of current.
Running two power adaptors may not be too bad compared to the cost of another larger one. When you get to three pedals, having a dedicated supply for all starts to make more sense.

It's a 1Spot NW1-US adapter that came with the Korg Pitchblack tuner. Output 9V == 1700 mA (Max.)
The EH Adapter for the POG is 9.6 V 200mA. It's Micro POG if that makes any difference. Plus I bought it used, so this may not be the original adapter.

I was just looking at some pedal board power supply options on Reverb. I had never thought...

Okay, you've got a One Spot which should give you enough current. BUT you need the daisy chain cable that goes with it. And yes the Micro POG does not pull 600ma like the regular POG, it pulls 180ma.

I would forget the output of the Korg and get a daisy chain cable for your One Spot.

How much current does the POG draw? I currently run a Pitchblack and an Ampeg SCRDI or a a 5 pedal guitar setup using the One Spot wall wart and it has no issues with either setup. The first place I would look would be the actual daisy chain cable as you're probably not even close to maxing out the power supply.
The supplied adaptor is a 9.6V unit however the spec for the POG is 9V. The One Spot isn't the problem unless it' faulty.

The 1Spot (9 V) is fine as is the EH Adapter (9.6 V) since they both work individually. Must have been the cable (Which I threw out at the end of the night. I should have kept it for testing).

I ordered a new splitter cable as suggested by mmbongo (thanks) and will use the split power cables rather than try to daisy chain from Pitchblack to POG.

Thanks everyone. I ordered the Power Supply Splitter Cable. Unfortunately it will take a few days to get here.
Can't wait to test it. Guess I'll just go with the two power converters until the new cable arrives.

I'll post the results as soon as I can test the new cable.
