Has anyone ever dealt with AmericanMusical.com ? Am considering a bass purchase from them and would like to hear from someone that has dealt with them.

Bought the bridge, wireless unit and bass head from them...BNPL.
Couldn’t be happier with the merchandise. I’d have no problem buying a bass from them, either but they just don’t carry my basses.
i have purchased a power amp and a few odds and ends --- over several years. usually sale items. no problems/no complaints.
Feeling more confident in them with other people buying from them. Guess I will go ahead with the purchase.
I used to buy from them all the time because they used to do a 3-5 payment same as cash plan back when I was 18 and had no credit. It's how I was able to buy all of my expensive gear when I was younger.
Good company. I received a bass from them once that was defective. They immediately emailed me a prepaid return label and as soon as they received an email from UPS they refunded my money even before the bass arrived back to their warehouse. Doesn't get better than that.

Still going strong, since '86... Welcome to TalkBass, @Stephen Davis! If it gives you peace of mind, their BBB rating is A+, as of today... but they are not accredited. I perused the complaints filed against them and most were outside their control... the point being is that the complaints were resolved, so a plus in their favor.

Not as big as some of the other mail order houses...
I'll put in a plug for Riff City music... another smaller company that I think will take off in the future. Especially if you're into Chapman gear. Outstanding customer service there.

Been buying from them for a looooooong time, never any issues. I'm sure somewhere in that 20 + years, I've had a return or two that they handled perfectly. So they're good one purchases and any service you might need.
