Should I make this trade?

Should I trade my Peavey Cirrus USA Walnut 4 String Bass and a Fender American Jazz Bass in Transparent Orange w/ a maple fretboard for a Nirvana Black Warwick $$ Corvette and a Spector Rebop 5 String?

I don't know what to do :/

IF IT WERE ME, I wouldn't trade the Jazz unless you a) just really, REALLY don't like it or b) something is seriously wrong with it. The Fender J or P sound is one of those that can hold it's own in just about any (if not all) application and you never know when that situation may arise. I would keep the Fender and trade the Peavey for either one of the others. I liked the Warwick's tone when I played one, I've never been one for the way they feel. The frets always seem sharp and a bit long, could just be me. I've always liked Spector pretty well, can't help much as I've never played the Rebop, heard good things. What style(s) do you play? This could help to narrow things down a bit.

Again, this is just a IF IT WERE ME opinion. Whatever you think is best for you. If you really want to trade both of your's for both of their's, then go for it. Cool basses all around!

Yea that's what I was thinking. This guy kept telling me I was making a poor trade decision! So I wanted to double check that I wasn't making a bad decision. He was telling me of how some people sell MIA Fenders for $500 and their value isn't what they use to be.

I'm into alot, I mostly play in a funk rock alt kind of band and I also play in a Deathcore band (big difference). Thanks for your input!

I would not do it. The Cirrus and Jazz cover about any sound you could wish for and the Sunset Orange Jazz with maple board is one of the best looking basses Fender ever released IMO. You don't see many of those floating around much anymore.

Tell this guy you can't fool a TBer
MIA Jazzes are worth much more and the price will get higher because these instruments are gonna worth more as vintage

But even if not, You got 2 great basses and the Spector and the Warwick are meh.

Don't even think about doing so.

Yea I thought the bass was beautiful when I got it. Apparently this guy is saying the bass would be hard to sell because of the color (Meaning it's not that good)?

Um what do you guys mean by Jive Deal? I'm not all that good with the lingo on here yet lol.

These were two parts of his e-mail:
"Weve been talking for a while. Ill be frank with you. You may not have made
the greatest move with the trade. I dont have cash either. If you decide you
want to trade. Let me know. You might be able to minimize the error."

This part got me slightly irritated I feel like he made me seem like I was making an idiotic decision.

"I dont know if you know this,but the guy who you traded the FNA to wants the Spector. Its a small world."

I kinda wondered why he still hasn't traded his spector for my old FNA yet I mean he's been saying that this guys been wanting his spector for awhile now ( the guy e-mails me every so often seeing if I've changed my mind about the basses.)

Thanks for all the help still guys!

Jive deal simply means bad deal and it is lingo that is quite common everywhere not just this site.
