Shout out to D'Addario Strings

Got a set of DAddario XT a couple weeks ago. used them 4 times and 2 strings went dead flat. I use NYXl As well they are fime. When i called The costumer rep wanted the package number. I had it but wasnt sure if it was from the XT set or the NYXL Set. so he wrote me and said he if just sending me both sets in the Mail since I wasn't sure. WOW That's great customer service!! D'Addario is great! I have been a faithful user of their strings for years. I remember I called into them months ago about my Players account points not logging correctly. After that was fixed, he asked what strings of theirs I used I sent me a free set of them.

I once ordered several XL170BT sets. The G string seemed thin, both in tone and feel. I measured it with my micrometer. They had accidentally put 40's instead of 45's in the sets I ordered. I contacted D'A, sent pix of the envelope and the string measurement, and several 45's were shipped right out.

+1 on D’Addario’s Customer Support. They’re top notch in my book.

I mostly used D’Addario XLs from the mid 80’s into the early 00’s. During those years I gigged a ton, and I went through a lot of strings. I was changing my strings roughly every 3 weeks. IIRC in all of those years, I had a bad string in 3 or 4 different sets.

Each time, I contacted them directly, and they responded immediately.
