Show me your compact pedalboard setup

Just got these from Sweetwater, on Thursday...

... a small Dingbat, with an EHX Bass Soul Food and a Polytune 3... once I get the board together, I'll post...

... I hope this adds something to the thread.

I posted this in the regular show your pedalboard thread but might as well post it here. Nano board, just using a 1-Spot for now. A tuner, octave, overdrive, Muff-style fuzz, gated fuzz, and a filter- covers all the basic needs.

Why before the mbs and not after?
I generally prefer to have the compressor at the beginning of the chain to define how I want the dynamic to hit the rest of the chain, like more percussive or smooth sustain... depending what come next. Here as monkeyland mentioned, I wish to improve tracking and sustain while preserving some attack. YMMV

I know it’s been asked before, but what exactly does the hpf do for you?

Gets rid of unwanted low end in a way that is different from the low knob on my amp. I only really use it in rooms that have a lot of rumble. This allows me to still be able to use the bass boost on my metro the way that I normally would. In the diagram, the part to the left of the slope is what is getting cut out. The knob on the filter moves the corner frequency up or down.
