Show me your compact pedalboard setup

@The Diaper Geni

What are your thoughts on the Terraformer? What level of gain do you primarily use it for?

Also, the Silver Deluxe. From what I understand, it is supposed to emulate the Alembic F2B (Fender tone stack). Unfortunately there are zero demos of this on YouTube that I can find. Would love to get your general thoughts on it as well.

Thanks! Board looks great!

the nautila now has it´s echoing sibling at it´s side. awesome pedal as well.

really happy with my board now :hyper:

I'm kind of a Broughton fanboy, so keep that in mind, but I really dig both the TF and SD. I use the TF very conservatively. Almost as a "dirty compressor". The TF hits pretty hard. Like a 2x4 over the head. It's not a clanky kind of OD, like the Tech 21 stuff can be. the top end is there but is thick as opposed to clanky. The SD is more tube-y-ish and adds some mojo that I have not found in other pedals. The SD isn't a "dirty pedal" but more of a "character pedal". I just got the SD about a week ago and can see it being an always-on pedal. I'm going to try and dial in some more dirty tones on the TF when I get the chance.

I've been running both at 18v as my #1 bass is pretty hot. Both are touch sensitive and, IMO, very intuitive and easy to dial in. IMO both are a great deal, too. Hope that helps?

That is a big help!

I am envisioning a Silver Deluxe in combo with the High Pass DI from Broughton to form a "Silver Deluxe DI" with high pass onboard....thoughts?

This is what I'm using right now with my Rolling Stones cover band and my 80s pop cover band too.

I am going ampless, so the Tone Hammer is a must (the treble knob has moved, it is usually at 11). Everything is very simple, since the Tone Hammer, the HPF, the LPF and the compressor (which has my own settings with the Toneprint editor) are always on. The octaver is for my 80s pop hits cover band. We are a trio, so the octaver is very useful, especially when the guitar player plays solos. I like it, very simple and straightforward.

Have you tried the Super Stack, I am wondering how it compares with the SD.

The Super Stack is a tube version of the SD right?

I have not tried the SS. Not really GASsing got that one nearly as much as the SV-Pre!

And I don’t know if the SS and SD are closely related? That’s a good question. @Azure Skies would know!

I do really like the SD. Warm and punchy at 18v with juuuuust a hint of bass boost.

Home-built from scrap wood with an MXR mini iso-brick underneath. The Fairfield Barbershop Modele B here is unplugged from the chain because the pickups (DiMarzio X2N 7) on the bass I was using last night are too hot and overdrive even on minimum settings. For a different bass I might add an Emerald Prince booster but my Telecaster Frankenbass doesn't need any tone sweetening. It's already ballsy enough.

I have not heard them described that way but it stands to reason based on the website. Given the choice and what (I think) I'm looking for, I would go with a tube option and why (as I've posted elsewhere) I've been considering the GlowPlug, and have also been wondering how close the GP and SS are.
Never owned a Super Stack (some day!), but I love the way my Silver Deluxe and my GlowPlug work together! Very tube amp like warmth through my FRFR system.
