Show me your compact pedalboard setup

Experimenting with pedals off the floor and a streamlined setup. While I love mod/delay effects, I just don’t use them often live. Will probably put this all on the floor and add a transparent overdrive like a Barbershop or Westwood. Maybe just a Modele B if I leave everything on the amp.

Lovin' everything about this!
I see you're utilizing the HPF on the Cali, and Mesa... how does that affect your sound?

These pedals consolidated onto a Warwick Jam pedalboard, from a larger set up. Really need to add a chorus pedal, but I don't like the videos I've watched of the Aguilar. Further to that, I like using a little Echo when running Chorus with Fretless. Might go with the Mooer Spark Chorus and Echo which will fit in the space of one of these pedals, or maybe just pony up and get the Southampton Utility knife, and do without the Echo. The Tone Job will get bumped off

I was using Mooer U connectors for these pedals, but stumbled across these new Warwick Flat patch connectors called the bender. Perfect for this set up.

This is what I'm using right now with my Rolling Stones cover band and my 80s pop cover band too.

I am going ampless, so the Tone Hammer is a must (the treble knob has moved, it is usually at 11). Everything is very simple, since the Tone Hammer, the HPF, the LPF and the compressor (which has my own settings with the Toneprint editor) are always on. The octaver is for my 80s pop hits cover band. We are a trio, so the octaver is very useful, especially when the guitar player plays solos. I like it, very simple and straightforward.

How are you finding the Octadose?

I have to say that I love it. I sold my EBS Octabass to get one. Comparing to the EBS, it's not that defined, more of a sub octave. The tracking is fantastic. I can play lower notes than with any compressor that I've tried. It's not the same as the sub harmonics of the Ahsdown amps (they say it is, but to me they sound very different). I use it especially when the only guitarist in the band plays solos. To me, it is a keeper.

Mines not so much a "compact" pedalboard, but it does what I need it to do...

And some things have changed since this pic was taken...

Line 6 G30 Reciever - Have to change cuz of dropout issues at certain venues.
TC Electronic Polytune 3 - Built in buffer, but hardly use that was since everything goes is straight to the input (no FX loop, but may have to adjust...don't have enough time to even test it out).
Seymour Duncan Studio Bass - biggest surprise pedal...was going to pick up an Empress Compressor, but it was so outta my price range at the time, and the guy at the shop recommended this...have been completely satisfied with it.
Boss OC-3 - Updated to a T-Rex Quint. A couple of songs my band plays
EHX Deluxe Big Muff - used to have a Big Russian BM, but the Deluxe had more of what I was looking for.
MXR Bass Envelope Filter - Sadly, only use for 1 song in my band...but G'DAMN does it make a difference!
MXR Carbon Copy - Replaced with a EHX Canyon. Canyon gave me more flexibility, but the "secondary hidden modes" started to bug the hell outta me...might replace with a Grand Canyon, but the Canyon suits what I need for now.
BOSS GEB-7 - Need to replace this one...it's too noisy unless I mod it, but again...I don't have the time at the moment to even try to attempt that, plus my soldering skill are sub-par. Any suggestions?

All powered using a TrueTone One-Spot CS12 (overkill, but wanted to make sure I had spare when adding more pedals to this rig if I need).

Recently added:
Fulltone OCD - LOVE this pedal on my bass. Use it more than the overdrive on my Fender Rumble 100. Going into the DBM, but not activated at the same time.

It's forever evolving, and some of the pedals that were removed are on living on my guitar pedal board(s). I'ts a bit overkill (not as extensive as Doug Wimbish's), but hey...it is what it is, and I like it...

I had one of these for a while. I moved it along because the little sliders were constantly getting bumped around and to me that was a PITA...
I was enticed by the idea of:
[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
The adjustments on this stayed put, but it has noticeably less clean headroom. I know that can be fixed in different ways, but I actually just got away from the needing that much adjustment in eq. I'm good with having a single preamp pedal that has bass, treble, sweep-able mids. I could definitely see wanting more shaping with a bigger variety of pedals. I'm pretty basic...
Should something ever come up, It would be so minimal of a need that I could easily fake it with my Zoom MS60B - Which, also has a few different EQs in it...

That's the exact one I was looking at and recommended by the shop I go to....I was using very little EQing on the GEB-7 and using it as a "to get by" boost pedal (like Tom Morello uses on his set-up). But for the meantime, I was considering a TC Electronic Spark Booster...cheap, not much EQing, and if eventually I was going to remove it, I could simply transfer it over to my guitar pedal board.

...or just get 2 Programmable EQ's both for both fly rigs! :D

There's technically room for another pedal on there, but it will make it hard to hit switches in the heat of the moment. We'll see if I can resist the temptation.

True. but these things helped out big time when I was using my NANO+...
https://www.amazon.com/Muslady-Footswitch-Protector-Plastic-Delivery/dp/B07DQLFRP7/ref=sr_1_4?crid=2QORO4V8FO5OU&keywords=mooer+candy+footswitch+topper&qid=1561581529&s=musical-instruments&sprefix=Mooer+cany,mi,182&sr=1-4

The shop I usually go to offer em to me as freebies for everytime I get a pedal (sometimes 3 depending on the pedal I get).

You can use the HOSA Flat patch cables wherever you an get em, and position the pedals in a way to get them even closer together (offset the in/out of each pedal) and tuck the cable in the channel. That's how I used to do it before I got my behemoth of the Classic1 (again, I consider my board too much).

I was also considereing that Ibanez bass as well before the Squier Jaguar fell into my lap....

Yeah, I have a few Barefoot Buttons floating around, and they definitely help. I probably won't be able to resist soon anyway, and just have to add another pedal on there. A synth would be cool, like the Dirty Robot.

The board is already outfitted with EBS Gold Flat patch cables; you don't get much more space-saving than that. There's definitely enough room :)
