Show me your compact pedalboard setup

Korg Pitch Black Tuner
Broughton HPF
Fairfield Barbershop
Diamond Bass Comp
3Leaf Enabler (off board)

I recently traded my tiny 1590 Fairfield Accountant for the Diamond, which forced the Enabler off the board. The Diamond sounds so good though, I think it was worth it.

The Enabler mostly stays at home now as a headphone amp, but I pack it as a backup for gigs.

View attachment 825433 Here is my pedal board. Been pretty pedal shy for 15 years. Had a Sansamp PBDDI but I sold it. Couldn't get around the scooped tone. Got the phase 90 from my girlfriend last year and the vortex flanger from a friend last year as a birthday present. I got a little hooked on pedals. Yeah I know. Got a bit of a MXR crush at the moment.

I switched my polytune and LS-2 around. I found out I was losing some volume and overall sound suddenly and the culprit was the tuner. Now the sound from my amp is back in all its gory glory. Now the direct line is Bass->LS-2->polytune->MXR Bass Distortion->BB bass Preamp->MXR M80->Amp.

One of the reasons I got a clip on tuner, another being one less patch cable in the signal chain.

Are you playing a passive bass? The buffer in the LS-2 may make the difference, the Polytune is true bypass I believe.

Fender American deluxe jazz. the same tone loss in both passive and active mode. plugged in and out of the pedal board and straight into the amp. disconnected the polytune in and out from the pedal board. huge difference. Testet it in and out of the signalpath after the LS-2 the loss of tone was gone. So I put the tuner after the ls-2 "buffer". No I hear no signal loss and I can still have the tuner on the board and not in the tuner out of my amp.
