Show me your compact pedalboard setup

This is the latest version of my main board - it's home made but about the size of a PT Junior. It's made to fit an aluminium tool case from Bunnings (the Aussie version of Home Depot). Changes since the last posting are: TLC off (it's now on my Aguilar board) Studio Bass on, Tuner off and TC Spark Booster on. What a great pedal that is. I'm using the tuner on my MS-60B. one more click to tune, but I'm not going to a bigger board, and I only tune once a set generally.

I tidied up the shroud at the front. It's made of 1.5mm rubber sheet. I am also now using 2 one spots to power it. 1 for the MS-60B, 1 for the rest of the board. The MS-60B introduces noise back into he power daisy chain if not on a truly isolated or stand alone power supply. With MS-60B in the loop of the LS-2, you can only hear noise when the loop is on, but it annoys me. The one spots plug in at the back of the stage either on a power board or in the back of my rack, and I have made a lead from 4 core cable to carry power to the front of the stage.

...@Feral Feline: I did actually have a pedal mounted on the Cali76 on an earlier iteration. The Cali is the tallest pedal on the board though and it doesn't fit into the case that well. I actually had a jam last night and have decided to remove the EP Booster again (it keeps coming and going). Nice pedal that adds a definite boost in the mid range, but it adds too much woolliness to most of my basses, so I'm going to move it over to my guitar board. Just about to rearrange them again and should be able to have the Cali back the right way!

Gotcha. My Cali never gets to leave home , so turning it into its own mini-board or pedal-riser is not a problem.

Last few gigs I've had have all been BAE (bass, air, ear), no need for my amp let alone my PT-mini.

To all you small board experts, what is the difference between the Cioks DC-5 and Adam? And what are some power supply options for nano sized boards? I downsized to a PT Nano+ and I'm using a one spot and it works fine, but I'd like something isolated.

Outlet 1-2: 9 or 12V DC / 100mA each
Outlet 3-4: 9V DC / 250mA each

DC5 = 5 outlets
Outlet 1-2: 9 or 12V DC / 100mA each
Outlet 3: 9 or 18V DC / 100mA
Outlet 4-5: 9 or 12V DC / 300mA each

So my Earthquaker Devices Tone Job arrived yesterday. The last piece of the puzzle for my Aguilar/Nano board.

Really happy with it. All the essentials for what I do, compact, quiet, no need to run power to the front if the stage with the pedal juice. The only down side is my main board, is getting less use!

I've gone down a similar route - got a larger board for my main funk / jazz covers gig, and a smaller board (of pedals that were on the main board once upon a time) for a trio I play with, or for when the big board isn't needed. I run direct to a poweramp, hence the preamp on each board.

I power both of these with a 1-spot - might do you for your smaller board?

Where do you get those little jack connectors like between your MulitComp and Octabass?

So the NE-1 showed up this afternoon, the Accountant showed up this morning (both the result of a trade for my Diamond BCP).
Didn't like the Accountant at first, mainly because it wasn't the Diamond, but I could tell there was something in there for me. Then the Nathon East showed up! These two compliment each other nicely, (so, I now have a Mooer Graphic B for sale in the classifieds).
Signal chain, Zoom MS60B and Sweeper are in the loop of the VB Junior. The pass through goes from the BMC to the Accountant to the NE to my PF350 driving two 210av's.
The Zoom is handling Slap tones, Octaver, various filters, and a very convincing SVT sim. And anything else auxiliary that I might need for my Instrumental Funk band or my Praise/Worship gig.
The Sweeper combined with the Octaver makes for a very convincing Chameleon patch.
Very versatile board. Very happy. I'm done....for a week or two.

tried to find a pic of just the pedal board I used to take when I recorded, but couldn't find a good one, Instead, I'll just use this one. Checking levels in the recording studio with a Danelectro Daddy-O Overdrive, a Danelectro Surf & Turf Compressor, a Danelectro Chili Dog Octave, a Danelectro Hash Browns Flanger, a Danectro Fish & Chips EQ, and a Danelectro Milkshake Chorus.

Here is my pedal board. Been pretty pedal shy for 15 years. Had a Sansamp PBDDI but I sold it. Couldn't get around the scooped tone. Got the phase 90 from my girlfriend last year and the vortex flanger from a friend last year as a birthday present. I got a little hooked on pedals. Yeah I know. Got a bit of a MXR crush at the moment.

Pedaltrain: Drill out the pop-rivets, tap some threads (use helicoils if necessary) and larger feet can then be screwed in.

For DIY boards, I've seen door-stoppers, adjustable fridge feet, longer bolts with stacks of washers...

I am finally happy with my board and it all actually fits on a JR. The MXR power brick is underneath. I am really happy with every pedal on here and may actually keep it as is for a while!! I go tuner<Sansamp<00Funk<Brown Dog<Comp<Pitchfork<Orbital<Electroman< then either looper/drum machine.
