Show me your compact pedalboard setup

Here's mine!
Polytune Mini > MXR Bass Comp > Boss OC-2 > Digitech BSW > MXR Bass DI
Powered with a Carl Martin Powerjack.

This is actually two compact pedalboards:

The "core" (i.e. public-transportation-friendly) sends out to the bigger board after the compressor, and comes back in before the reverb. The AMT wah is getting replaced by an EBS Stanlet Clarke in the next couple of days, and some of the remaining real estate has been reserved for the eventual Darkglass Stockman pedal.

kevk,

I just learned of that Broughton HPF. Where is it in your signal chain? How does it compare in function, performance and price to the microthumpinator or fdeck?
It's last in my chain... I bought an fDeck also to compare against, but just received both in the last few days and haven't had a chance to experiment much with either of them.

The Broughton HPF was a recommendation from @peterpalmieri (we both use Jule amps)... I can't speak to the microthumpinator, but many people rave about that one also!

The fDeck and Broughton are around $100, but I believe the microthumpinator is more...

Yeah, the straight jacks looked to me to be too big also (which is why I asked), but I believe ya. And, it sure does look good!

Oh, that's because there are gromits in the holes to give it that clean look. The hole itself was cut to fit the straight jack. Then plastic gromits inserted afterwards.

Nice setup Joey. I'm curious, are you using many effects in the Foreigner tribute band?

Yup, the MXR is for Jukebox Hero intro. Chorus during slap in Urgent verses. The POG is for octave up only and is used on a few songs to thicken up during solos. The Billy pedal not so much. But for my other projects I do. The Spectrocomp is always on.

Cool, I am always curious how guys playing what some may consider "straight ahead" rock are using their effects. I just pulled almost everything off my pedalboard, so have been contemplating a new setup.

Foreigner tribute band? I love it! Foreigner IS a Foreigner tribute band. Saw them last summer. Really good!

I use an envelope on Juke Box too. At the room we were in last weekend, the effects seemed to "cut through" more than usual. My guitar player commented on that particular song.

I play originals hard rock ranging from Staind type stuff to metal. in the middle of moving pedals around to make room for a mxr bass distortion. So it's a bit of a mess at the moment

Chain is bass-> glxd wireless/tuner->boss Cs-2 compressor(always on)->digitech polara-> Sans amp RBI(always on). Plan to put the mxr bass distortion between the compressor and reverb.

Jamman is used only for live sampling with the hard rock band bass signal never touched it. Allows us to have extra layers of guitars, strings and sound effects (bass drops anyone?) live. Radial DI is for the jamman as it gets its own channel to the PA.
