Show me your compact pedalboard setup

Yep! It's Mojotone UK bass gold foil at the neck and their bass jazzmaster at the bridge. Here's a video of me jamming with the guys from Worship Tutorials: . Some nice runs (and bass face) in there that showcase the tone. It's a great pup combination, inspired by Nick Campbell and his mystery Musicmaster. I used a Stu Hamm MIM Urge for the build, as 32" scale worked better for me than 30". Stripped out the pre so it runs mostly passive. The chrome knob is a five-way selector: off - clean boost - OD - fuzz - face-melter (too noisy to use).

Very cool version with some tasty licks on both bass and guitar

Well, this is the best 3-pedal tone combo I’ve discovered to date. Really prefer compact pb’s…the smaller, the better. MBD2 is for fattening, without breakup. Much prefer the PC-2A footprint (vs my previous LA-1A) —still tube-licious…and, the S1 Neve “tone sauce” is in that red gain knob…

Edit/Add: I’ve also been testing a prototype Bergantino preamp…really amazing tone control/capabilities, and even simpler, pb-wise. :)

:drool::drool::drool:

I've got 2-outta-3 of those pedals.

Guess which one I'm missing. :whistle:

However, you gave me an idea: PC-2A > MBD2 > Broughton Studio Boost > Broughton Messenger.

Hmmm....:thumbsup:

That’ll work! I used to own the original Messenger. Aside from the S1 red gain knob, the LPF is my most valued control for tone shaping…like to up the 3kHz treble knob, then set the lpf to taste—effectively creating what I used to do with my Broughton Resonance Filter pedal. So yea, Messenger eq capability and the SB would be a nice combo to add with the other two pedals. :)

Here's mine. We're a 3 piece, so when the guitarist dives into a solo, I use the lower two pedals for some grit and often an octave or 5th to fill the space. The JAM compressor and Microtubes stay on all the time. I have a rechargeable battery pack with enough power and outputs velcro'd to the underside. So, just into the tuner, and out to the combo amp (Custom Ashen 2 x 10).
