Compact enough to place on top of a cabinet with everything I need including a 200 watt amp.

That is one seriously bad-ass little board. Mucho like.

How's the new version of the SansAmp Bass Driver treating you? Always loved the tone of the original, but not the controls, so I switched to a VT Bass DI. Now that they have a BDDI with mid-controls, though, I'm seriously contemplating switching back to a BDDI again.

How do like the Ego mini? I've been eyeballing one to cut size, but being new, there's not many reviews, especially for bass... I love my MXR Bass comp, but I'm wanting smaller. You can PM your thoughts if you like so not to derail the thread.

I recently picked up a Korg Pitchblack Mini, and so far my experience is less than positive.

I received it just a day before we were scheduled to play a very rushed outdoor set for the local Canada Day festivities, so I didn't have time to try it out at all before heading out the door with it. I'd read a few reviews about it being hard to see in a sunny outdoor setting, but I didn't think it'd be nearly as bad as it was. It was almost impossible to even tell if it was on or off, evidenced by a loud low B during the Mayor's speech during our setup. Oops.

I don't think I'm even going to keep it, as I've been doing a lot of outdoor small town festivals this summer already.

On that note, if anyone here only plays dank bars and wants a tiny tuner, PM me. ;)

I love playing dank bars but Turbo Tuner is how I roll.

EGO mini is excellent. Blend is key. No low end loss. The Tone switch seems to only affect the compressed signal, so you can add a little bit of treble back. The Attack switch is Fast and Slow. Simple.

The BDDI V2 is excellent as well. Again, Blend is key. The Mid knob, plus being able to shift the low and mid frequencies can be very useful.
