Yes. It started as a broken T-bird body and an Epi Gothic T-bird neck. I really enjoy "steampunk'ing" guitars and basses.

My Mike Lull T4, this is the third T Bass mike built back when he first started the project. My spec was for a single pickup version based on the original Thunderbird II, the color is non stock as well. Happy Halloween!
I had Chris Stambaugh build mine a few years ago. I call her Dark Phoenix...
Larry's 12'er came out awesome! Great thread too with all the naysayers dropping out as the project started to come together.
BTW, I was lucky enough to be in on this project if only in a small way by making the mirrored PG. Glad to be able to contribute.

That thing came out perfect as far as I'm concerned.
Wasn't there another 12-string TBird conversion thread a while back? I remember a different one, with a black bass. Or am I hallucinating again?
Edit: Nope, same thread, I was remembering the black t-shirt apparently.
Memory's a strange thing. Anyway, pretty sure this was at least a subconscious inspiration for mine!

Just don't ever ship that Epi out of the country. They'll do a cavity search for the missing pickup.
Oh it has two cavities, there's the empty battery box as well. Double the cavity searching fun.
