I own a few T-Birds, two in the standard brown burst and white.

But I pulled out all the stops on this one. Marty Bell finish, Mike Lull pickups, and all chromed out including a custom made TRC.

It's a scene-stealer, insecure fellow musicians beware.

Thanks! One Thunderbird pickup is all you need IMO.

Got a photo of the Epiphone? I tried to make a TB-II from a junked Epiphone body and eventually gave up. Filled both pickup cavities up with Bondo and then re-routed for the correct pickup location.

The best photo I have at the moment is this one with the Cataldo NR41. I still haven't covered the empty pickup cavity as I am havering between self-adhesive pickguard (none in stock at various luthiers supplies) or styrene sheet (requires black screws, none in stock at local hardware).

Yes they are- a cheaper Single Pickup TBird option than a 60s Gibson is a 70s Greco like this one of mine.

Carlo @Dadagoboi makes fantastic TBirds too, including TB IIs.

Those necks aren't tilt back are they? Is the trc flush with the end of the fretboard? That's very interesting...hmmm got me thinking.

No tilt, trussrod access at end of fretboard on that one. Similar to Lull and others but six bolt attachment.

I also do set neck tilt headstocks and through necks. Priced accordingly.

This is exactly what I'm afraid of. I had a EB0 and an EB3 but the neck dive drove me to Fender, I love the T-Bird design. I think the T-Bird and the Rumble 500 and 2 210s would sound downright BALLSEY! If anyone has tried spare me the pain of finding out. 10-4 good people! Now the EBs are priced out of my meager means.

Please dont let neck dive scare you, its all about pin location witch can be remedied im moments if it exists.

The T-Bird guys have made some of the most interesting mods I have ever seen. Heaven help me. Please, let me pay off the laptop before I get another bass.
