My MXR is good. Very much a meatball type. The bassballs is old school THICC booty greasy bloopity quackerDude! First, nice board
Modern worship seems to have expanded the bass sounds.. The board can do sounds and more.

That was my 2016 board...this is my 2021 board, some what different:
Here's mine......at least until pedal GAS strikes again!!
Bass --> Drop --> Beta --> tuner --> HPF --> OptoComp --> VTBD. All mounted on a PedalTrain Metro 16
The Drop is there and on at half a step down for 2/3 of each evening for one of my projects. It does this quite well.
The Beta is there for occasional hits of more dirt going into the VTBass500.
The Comp is fundamentally always on for a teeny/tiny amount of comp (actually slowly learning that it's more about "feel" than it is about "sound").
The VTBD xlrs out to FOH, or parallels out to a VTBass500 head.

Do you have only one compressor in front of everthing?
Yes. This is generally where I like to have it. I have other compressors and I thought about squeezing one in the end but so far I have all I need.
Tuner>Comp>Boost/PreAmp>Synth>Octaver>Envelope Filter>OD1>OD2>DIST1>DIST2>Fuzz>Flanger>Phaser>Chorus>Booster>Delay>Reverb>Preamp/EQ/DI

Wife's board. She relies almost exclusively on EQ curves and modulation effects for her sound. She has an OD but she uses it very, very sparingly. There are two guitars in the band handling all the "dirty job" after all. Hence her board is relatively small and there's lot of space in between pedals. The board is a Tone Trunk 56 anyway.

I’ve since moved the EBS Multi-Drive off and added the Aguilar Agro - all powered by an MXR mini-iso brick mounted under the board.
Endgame for yours truly! Can’t imagine many sounds this board couldn’t cop!
This has been my pedalboard (and "rig" for FOH) for over 3 years now. For both bass and guitar, I get everything I need for live and studio from it. Relatively endless possibilities and flexibility.
